Here's your chance to help a fellow Facility Manager! - Survey!
Steve Georgoulis, CFM, a VP with the Greater Phoenix Chapter of IFMA, is conducting a FM survey for his Masters in Construction at ASU. Steve is asking fellow Facility Managers to complete a brief survey HERE, to help him determine the backgrounds of individuals that work in this increasingly challenging and constantly changing environment and the factors that motivated them to become Facility Managers.

The survey takes less than two minutes to complete, and Steve hopes to have the results published by IFMA corporate.  Thanks for helping support FM education!
This link will be valid through August 21st.

Helping New Orleans
The IFMA Foundation has committed to organize a volunteer rebuild project while in New Orleans for IFMA's World Workplace 2007 Conference & Expo, Oct. 24-26. The volunteer project will take place Saturday, Oct. 27, following the conclusion of World Workplace. The IFMA Foundation is currently working with several agencies to determine which project will be undertaken.

Please consider extending your stay in New Orleans an additional day and volunteer to be part of this effort. Everyone is welcome. We hope to make a meaningful contribution to the city and people who are so graciously hosting us.

By staying an additional day you will be making a positive economic impact on the city, while also making helping make critically needed repairs to the chosen facility. The IFMA Foundation is in discussions with various city and municipal representatives in an effort to identify a school, hospital or fire station that needs the type of repair that we will be able to deliver. Updated information will be made available through the IFMA communication channels and the World Workplace Web site. If you have any questions, please contact Will Rub, - IFMA Foundation Executive Director at william.rub@ifma.org  or 713-623-4362, ext. 158.

Other Volunteer Options
