Committees & Chair Members
Beside its membership, IFMA's committees are the life blood of our Seattle Chapter. These are the organizations to join if you want to be more active in the chapter, have a hand in the direction and activities of the chapter and to give back to the association for all of its focus and dedication to the field and the profession of Facility Management.
Listed below are the Seattle chapter's committee, a brief description and contact information. Please contact the Chair member if you are interested in joining any of the committees.
Coordinates chapter relations with allied and affiliate members. Sponsors annual an event in June and holds several mixers throughout the year. Heighten public awareness of IFMA and chapter events through press releases and maintaining press contacts.
Prepares and distributes the
quarterly chapter newsletter and web site content. Solicits editorials from members at large and notices of other committee activities. Responsible for recognizing current members' career accomplishments in the
quarterly Newsletter.
Provides information and advice to members seeking CFM certification and maintains relationship with UW Facilities Management degree program.

Organize and administer our annual golf outing. This is our major fundraiser for the Chapter Community Partner and the Sander Abrams Memorial Scholarship benefiting the U of W Certificate in FM program.
Establishes sponsorship programs, advertisers, etc. Generating revenue for the Chapter. Proposes new fundraising opportunities to support Association programs.
